As an independent firm, we represent our clients directly, not through specific companies. Our independence is vital to delivering objective and sound financial advice to clients. Kiersten joined BeneVest in 2013. She has worked in the financial services industry since graduating from UW Whitewater in 2003, with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Kiersten began her career at Wells Fargo Bank working as a Licensed Banker, as well as a Trust Associate for their Private Bank. Over the years, she has worked closely with a variety of Financial Advisor teams. Kiersten holds her Life, Health, and Variable Annuity insurance licenses, as well as the Series 7 and Series 66 registrations.
Most recently serving as an Operations Manager for BeneVest, Kiersten has made a full time transition into the Financial Advisor position, effective January, 2017.
Kiersten comes from a family of financial professionals, as a third generation of the industry. As an independent Financial Advisor, Kiersten is passionate about helping her clients successfully navigate through the investment landscape during each stage of life. Focus areas include financial goal setting, investment education, strategic planning for those saving for education or retirement, cash alternative investment solutions, and retirement income planning.
When not assisting clients, Kiersten enjoys spending time with her young daughter, Aubrey. She loves to cook, travel, and relax with family and friends. Originally from Texas, Kiersten has grown a great appreciation for all that Wisconsin has to offer. Trips up North, attending Packers games, and enjoying the changes of each season are some of her favorites.

Gary specializes in retirement planning, accumulation and distribution. Gary holds a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation as well as Life, Heath, Variable insurance licenses, Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations.
Gary received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master’s degree from Ball State University. Gary has over 15 years of investment and retirement planning experience. His consultative approach allows him to develop a complete understanding of the client’s goals and offer solutions to their asset accumulation and distribution planning needs. His approachable, caring style allows him to build long-term relationships with clients. Gary’s experience lies in retirement distribution planning and investment diversification strategies. He works with mutual funds, annuities, and fee based managed account solutions. He has been working with investments through most of his life and understands the normal cycles of the investment markets. Gary is focused on helping his clients remain calm and focused on their long-term objectives in all market conditions.
Gary has been married to his much better half, Kathy, for 36 years. They manage a two-cat household in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. Their son, Sam, lives nearby and works in the Shorewood school system.
